First Day of School

This post is a little late... It's been busy getting back onto a schedule! Like the title says the kids are back in school! I thought it would be an exciting day for me, to be able to sit back & enjoy the quietness with only one little guy home. It ended up being more difficult than expected. This was our first year sending a kido to school all day, and riding the "big kid" bus. Wow, maybe I'm a wimp, but I was on the verge of tears. Madelyn also started her preschool the same day. So it was just Tate & I driving home alone. Talk about quiet! The poor guy got a little bored with just mom! Luckily it isn't always this way, we do babysit another little guy Tate's age a couple days a week. The kids are both loving school. Madelyn's been wanting to go since Bricker started, so this year was way exciting for her! Bricker's a social butterfly of sorts, he enjoys seeing all his friends. Everyday after school he asks if a different friend can come over. So we've been getting back into the groove of things. It's a nice change though, after a busy summer with no schedule.
