Well it's been awhile since I blogged. Summer has been busy so far! First off, Happy Birthday to Shane! He got to celebrate 2 days in a row, with Father's day the day before his b-day. Lucky bugger, although he wouldn't say so cause it ends up being Happy Father's Day/Happy Birthday all in one! He is such a great husband and dad, we are so grateful for all his hard work.
The kids have also been busy. Bricker finished off kindergarten! Here's him and his teacher. He has been playing t-ball this year again. It's so fun to watch the kids at his age. He is really getting good this year and shows lots of interest. Check out this swing! And look at this slide/roll into home!Madelyn has been taking gymnastics and loves it. We've been on 2 camping trips this summer. Our last trip was interesting. Shane took us to Woodruff Utah to a Testicle Festivle. Yep, they were serving testicles there, just in case you were wondering. I wouldn't call it much of a festivle though, it consisted of one booth and one place to eat, and a rodeo that lasted all day. Just one of the joys of being married to a cowboy! It wasn't all that bad, the kids had a blast playing with cousins and making new friends. Woodruff Utah is not a place where you have to worry much about your kids. They ran around all day and I'm sure they got to know every kid in town! I did manage to get some good shots of the kids playing.Lets not forget Tater Bugs. This little guy is so full of energy! I just gave him his 2nd hair cut. It's gotta be an Olsen thing, my kids just have so little hair, but check out the cute faux hawk!!Shane and I also managed to take a trip down to the Manti temple, well we tried to anyways. We eventually made it there. I'll explain...Shane likes a nice scenic route, it always takes us twice as long to get somewhere. So he decided to drive through Spanish Fork and turn off at Thistle to get to Manti. We were trying to make a 12 o'clock sealing for one of Shane's cousins... Well it was about 11:45 when I started thinking we should be able to see the temple by now, or at least some buildings. That's when Shane must have been thinking the same thing. We had missed our turn off at Thistle and was clear down past Price, 2 hours away from Manti. Needless to say, we missed our temple session, but made it there in time to see his cousin walking out of the temple! It still wasn't a waste of a day, we did have a nice drive and get to see the beautiful temple and take a pic!!
