I debated on whether or not to post this, but I am desparate for help!! The title says it all, and I'm sure none of you want to see a picture of what I am going through! Bricker is 4 1/2 years old, and has started peeing his pants. He was completely potty trained for over a year, but suddenly the last 4 or so months has decided it is too hard to use the toilet. It was mostly happening when he was playing with friends and just got too excited and didn't want to miss anything by taking a potty brake. We've tried everything we can think of to try to help him. And I am getting sick of washing his clothes everyday cause they smell awful and if I don't wash them daily then the laundry room stinks! Well just this last week it has gotten even worse, he has been peeing on his toys! Gross! I came to find this out from a neighbor that comes over to play. How embarassing!! Yesterday I found poop on one toy, went to clean it and found poop in the bathroom sink! I was so mad and frustrated I had to tell Bricker to leave the room. I just don't know how to get it into his head HE HAS TO USE THE TOILET!!! So if anyone has ideas to help us, it would be much apprieciated! Needless to say all of our toys have had a Clorox bath and are nice a clean.
Not only have we been dealing with nasty surprises from Bricker, but the poor guy got strep throat again this week. That's his third time in three months. His doctor had me make an appt with the Ear, Nose, & Throat doctor, and we are now looking at getting his tonsils out :( We will find out for sure whether or not it will happen this coming week. Luckily no one else in the family has caught it!
So needless to say last week was a week I am glad to have over! At the end of the day though, I'm sure greatful for my little mess makers! Life would be pretty boring without them.

Hi - just a visitor. I told Shayne that I followed your blog.
Kids do some crazy things when a new one is brought into the home. Im not sure if the two could be related with Bricker, but possibly. I would start with something like making him go potty every hour (or so). Make him sit on the potty until he goes. If he does have an accident, make him help you clean it up. He may not enjoy being a big boy, having to wear pull-ups. Just a few thoughts. You should always ask your doctor. He may have some great advice! Good Luck!
I feel for you and Bricker. But have no good ideas or suggestions for you either. It doesn't sound like fun at all and I hope there is an end to the nasty surprises soon!
Oh I am so sorry! I hate potty incidents - Ugh!! My brothers twins went through a phases where they were peeing on each other - so at least you dont have two!! I really hope this passes quickly for your sake!!
honestly rochelle that is disgusting, I would be going nuts right about now! I hope, hope hope brody doesn't do that, you guys know i made brody sit in the washing room, bare but and wait for his clothes to go through the cycle, wash and dry! of course put it on the shortest cyle! or make him stay in the kitchen all day for two days, and say "if you are not going to potty in the toilet you'll have to play in the kitchen all day", i don't know that is so gross, i don't know what is worst pee of poo, poo you can pick up and spot wash but pee goes everywhere and soaks in and then there is not much else you can do
