Well I've had numerous people ask me if we have a blog, and I hated saying no... So here I am trying to figure this all out. It looks kinda fun, so I think I will enjoy it. For those of you who don't know us well, We are the Olsen's. We have two kids, one boy and one girl, who we love to death. Shane my husband is in the Air Force Reserve and is currently serving a tour in Iraq right now., but we should be expecting him home the first part of October!! We are so excited. He has been gone since May. It has been a long eventful summer for the kids and I. We are currently living with my lovely in-laws. I should mention all the things I have managed to do while my hubby has been gone. I have sold our home in North Logan, placed a bid on a new home, bought a new car, trying to sell a car (if any one wants a 2000 VW Passat give me a call!), and numerous other things. This has all been with Shane's approval of course! I should mention the events that have occurred this summer without our daddy, we missed him on his birthday, Bricker's birthday, my birthday, Father's Day, and Mother's Day. Anyways to say the least, I have had a busy summer. The kids and I took a trip to California to visit some family shortly after Shane left, and following it we had tons of camping trips, and a couple trips up to Boise to visit Grandma Susie. We have to keep ourselves busy to help the time go by faster. I must thank all our family and friends for all of their help and support while Shane has been gone. You guys will never know how much it has helped me. Well I will try my best to keep this updated. I'll let ya all know when Shane gets home! I'll post some pictures of all the fun things the kids and I have done this summer.

The Kids got their faces painted at the Farmer's Market in California. They thought it was pretty neat!

The Kids & I @ the beach in California, along with Bricker in front of our airplane. He thought thought the airplane ride was awesome the ride home. The flight there was a different story.

Bricker on his B-Day with his cousins, he got his

own gas powered 4-wheeler from Mom & Dad!
Well We can't forget Madelyn! She has been the one to keep me busy all summer. She's sprung into a toddler before my very eyes!

Hey Rachelle! I love the blog and the pictures of the kids. They are so cute and are getting so big. Time goes by so fast when you are having fun. We will have to get together soon to play games when Shane gets back.
I am so excited you started a blog Rachelle. I love keeping up with old friends. It is in Nibley. Were you looking at buying out there? Gosh it seems like I just saw you and you said Shane had just left. I can't believe he is already about to come home.
